Helllooo GWA. Ciao, hallo, hola, ni hao, konnichiwa, annyeong haseyo, the list goes on and on. I enjoy learning languages, and I feel like the [bilingual] tag on GWA tends to get a lot of love!
So and therefore, I'd like to ask for a favor from all you lovely individuals who can speak a language asides from English--would you be willing to share some talent from those bi (tri, quad, poly) lingual tongues with the rest of us? Teach us a few things we'll definitely never get from a textbook.
With the information you provide I hope to:
- Compile a Gone Wild Languages compendium, if you will, of key phrases (both SFW/NSFW) that I'll post on r/GWABackstage for all script writers and performers out there who'd like to dabble in a foreign language
- Learn some new words that hopefully I can use in my own scripts
- Attempt some of the languages myself in future audios
So if you'd be at all interested in helping me out with this endeavor...
There are some suggested phrases already on there, and also a free response section to slap in anything you would like to surprise me with. Bonus--if you're super duper amazing, there's also an area you can include a link to you pronouncing the phrases you've submitted.
I think that's all from me for now. If you've made it this far thank you so much for your consideration and I hope to be reporting back soon <3
