howdy friends, i'm ready to Embarrass Myself!

when i was in middle school i was a Big Time evanescence fan. i had all their albums and they were preeeetty much the only thing i listened to for a long, long time. i idolozed their songs and dark aesthetic. now, i'm no amy lee, but i still love belting out their old songs and pretending i am. and this 'un? it's a classic.

i've been meaning to sing some songs cuz i miss it. i'm not any good at singing, i'm not a powerhouse and i'm pitchy af and don't know how to breathe, and i really, really wish i had taken voice lessons when i was younger like my friend did (who is now a professional classical singer 🙃), but i enjoy singing. i haven't done karaoke in, like, foreverrrrrr. and i wanna make your ears bleed! i've been listening to sad songs aaaaaaall day and they're my absolute favorite to sing, gettin me in the sadboi mood. 😩🤟🏻

this is acapella because my timing is always off if i try to follow along with instrumentals. the reverb version is a little easier on the ears.
