I posted another story from Norse mythology a while back, that time in Swedish. This time it's in English (though with Swedish pronounciation of Norse words and a "Norwegian" accent).
The story centers around typical Loki shenanigans - the cleverest of all gods, but lacking in wisdom. He comes up with a plan, fails due to an oversight, is threatened with execution, and survives through trickery.
There are lots of stories like that but this is probably the most famous: The Building of Asgard's Wall, where a stranger approaches the Gods with a strange offer... (hint: it's to build a wall)
