If you don't know what free talk Friday is, it's something a lot of subreddits on Reddit do every single Friday. It's basically a place for random chatter, small talk, and other general things like newbie questions or other questions/advice that may no warrant its own thread, but could still be helpful to people. The goal of this weekly thread is to kind of be the weekend "hangout" thread (if you want to call it that), while also being a place for people to come ask their questions about GWA to get advice or opinions from others.
I'm hoping this can provide a place on Backstage for those too nervous to create their own thread or those that don't think their newbie question is allowed, to come ask their questions or seek advice in one big place. At the same time, this place can also be just a general hangout to celebrate the weekend and the coming New Year!
So! Welcome to Free Talk Friday! Come share your fun from this week, or vent about how it sucked. Want to humble brag about an amazing audio you did and how you feel awesome about it? Need to vent about how you got interrupted by a lawnmower for the 4th time this week while recording? Have a GWA-related (or non-GWA) related question you want input on? Plans for the weekend? Anything happen in your ordinary non-GWA life? Can't think of anything? Then just stop in to say hello! No matter what, everyone and everything is welcome on Free Talk Friday. There are no stupid questions.
And as usual, let's all be the supportive and helpful people I know each and every single one of us can be, and try not to be cunts to one another. This is a friendly area, for everyone to have their own calming spot to talk about their week and other GWA-related things. Everyone's on equal ground here, no one is superior. There are no stupid questions, even if you ask what GWA is.
Two question once again for everyone this week!
1) What's your favorite season/time of year? Do you like the spring? The summer? Winter? Fall? And why?
2) What's on your mind this week? Anything you want to gush or rant about?
