One of the big problems with GWA and other related subs is that with so many subscribers and participants, everything is flowing so quickly now. Things practically jump off the front page in a jiffy.

There's not a whole lot we can do about the technical capability of Reddit right now, but there used to be weekly summary posts on GWA that were easier to skim for things that caught your fancy, and if you were interested in something you wouldn't have to sift through a long, moving list page by page. I can understand why they were cancelled (they became really long and were probably a bear to assemble), but I'm thinking they could be of more use now than before.

How often? Maybe every other or every few days, to cut down on what's covered. What would it cover and where would it be posted? One or more of the subs (GWA, GWAudible, etc) in this sub's community, but it would probably not be allowed as a sticky within those subs. It could maybe show up in some other sub, just for this purpose - please note that I know that linking to audios or scripts while not in the context of a discussion is disallowed here, so without some sort of waiver for that purpose it couldn't go here.

This is dangerously close to saying "someone should do this", which often leads to no one doing things. But if someone's up to help out with this, I am ready to help making some sort of software that makes assembling this list easier (collects all post titles, maybe takes a first shot at simple categorization, helps out noticing when a user has deleted their account so their links can be removed, etc).

And of course, I don't pretend to know everything about how this would work, I just think that if there was something like this, maybe it would help counter the factors of randomness and luck of posting something, and calm down the aftereffects of that.
