Hello there! I am /u/Lady_Vakarian, speaking to you from my favourite place on the Citadel. Those of you that know me. I offer you the usual greeting of cuddles and inappropriate remarks, and those that do not, I am an English woman with a penchant for giving sex toys ridiculous names while I review them, book readings and the occasional song when someone has enough time on their hands to convince me to post one! I am a fairly eclectic person and this is reflected in my music choices, so when i was asked to do this, i had real trouble only picking 35 songs! Most of these have some meaning or other to me, and while genre's differ i have done my best to set a sort of pace. I love old rock and could have likely filled all 35 slots with it, but chose to give you some different flavours while there is still some newer music around that doesn't make me want to roll my eyes. Please do enjoy, and remember.....life's too short not to wave those arms in the air once in a while!

Bamba’s Bar Bite

Beer steamed mussels

Got another seafood snack for you guys this week! This time, it's a hefty portion of fresh Atlantic mussels steamed in a broth of pale ale, butter, and lemon juice, flavored with smoked bacon, garlic, shallot, thyme, and just a pinch of chili flakes.

Once they're all opened, they're sprinkled with tarragon leaves and served with hunks of sourdough bread to soak up all that delicious broth.
