This comes from a weird phone call today. I had a trial period with Sirius radio with my new car, and they assured me.. they would not automatically enroll me after it.

So, of course, I got an email saying I was going to be billed a ridiculous amount. So I checked online. There had to be a button I could press to cancel the service. Nope. Just over the phone.

So, I called... and kept telling the woman.. cancel my account.

Three times, she told me the wonders of the service, and gave me a discounted rate. The last was for 1/4 of the rate, for 5 months.

Desperate to just be finished? I quietly explained I was only expected to be around for 3 months, and didn't want to be a burden to my family.

She quickly, and compassionately helped me close out the service. At the end.. I could actually tell she was choked up. I felt bad.. but dammital.. just cancel my service.

I thank GWA for my audio training to sell that to her successfully. I am sure others have things not as fucked up as this that GWA has done for them, and was curious what they were...
