I've always loved this song by the Smashing Pumpkins, off their Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness album. It's a sweet tale of a man in love with a woman, serenading her from a tree in her yard, where he's been watching her... oops wait, maybe it's not so sweet. Perhaps he gets arrested at the end :)
I couldn't find a backing track on youtube - apparently this is not a popular karaoke song, who knew?! So you'll have to put up with me a cappella. If you have time, listen to the original, it's a great song :)
