Ignore the title. I had no idea what to put it as that wasn't gonna use up like 250 characters. Been wanting to make a post like this yesterday and the day before just to find out if anyone else has been noticing this, but I kept on thinking I was just imagining things and that it'd work itself out.
I'm not talking about the upvote glitch with Reddit's algorithm where you'll see a 3-10 upvote jump every time you refresh. Don't worry.
Has anyone else noticed that upvotes appear a little glitchy these past 3-4 days? Sometimes not appearing, and then sometimes suddenly appearing all at once 10-12 hours after a post has been up?
At first I thought I was just a little crazy, but then I started talking to a few other posters and they said they noticed the same thing. Even talked to another GWA poster that said one of her audios had like 35 upvotes 7 hours after she posted, and then randomly got 100 upvotes appear in the span of an hour. Of course I'd just say that was a random occurrence, but she noted that she's seen it happen a couple times to other audios as well these past couple days. For some reason it looks as though upvotes aren't being counted the same way they were a week ago. I even tested it out with an alt and another GWA member just to make sure I wasn't completely being stupid, and it didn't even recognize either upvote as "existing" the moment we did them like it normally does.
For all I know it's just a random occurrence and it's nothing, but I thought I'd ask. I may just be wrong and seeing a pattern where there isn't one and if I am wrong, I'll just delete this thread. Just wondering if any of y'all have noticed anything like this these past couple days for those of y'all that have posted audios or scripts.
