I think today might be my cake day. What should I do to honor the occasion? I would like to follow in the footsteps of /u/suitandlies by doing a string of improvisations based on replies in a thread but — I am not sure that I am yet equal to the task.

Anyway, though this is the official cake day for this account, I had an account for a couple months previous to starting over for this one so I am looking back on just over a year here.

I have had some really interesting experiences and met some really great people. I have learned so much about myself through this community and I even managed to fall in love. What's amazing is that she, somehow, fell in love with me, too. While that might not have lasted, it was an experience I will cherish and I never would have had it if not for this community. So — yeah, here's to another year of interesting experiences. I wonder what will happen this year...
