One of my greatest pet peeves in life is that the entire life of one of America's greatest heroes is boiled down to a convenient part of one speech.
I Do my best to honor his life on his day by spreading more of his words to anyone I encounter.
As it stands...Y'all get to be spreaded to today.
In that spirit I give you What is Your Life's Blueprint. This speech was played for my 5th grade class at our Commencement into Middle School on June 12, 1981.
I later performed it at the first Dr. King Day in 1986.
It is one of the signature idioms of my life. Happy Dr. King Day.
And if you're into bloopers...Try this one with an impromptu FBomb Adlib
