Created for my Beastie whose love of Leonard Cohen introduced me to some amazing pieces, I was sitting in my car when I found out he’d passed on (I had just finished a gig) and I was instantly hit with the inspiration to recite “Come Healing” on top of “Wild is the Wind” by Nina Simone 💙

I originally heard David Bowie's cover of Nina and was struck by the sensuality in his heartbreaking version - so MY resulting piece, is inspired by my Beastie, Cohen, Bowie and touradj1982's piano cover of Nina Simone ☯️
