Bonjour ! Je suis le professeur Lapinceau, et ensemble nous allons essayer d'avoir une meilleure compréhension de ce qu'est le Français, comment le prononcer, comment l'écrire, et comment le rendre érotique.
If you could understand this sentence, all should go well :)
My GWA adventures prompted me to ask myself some questions : "Why can't I talk dirty in French without it sounding weird and gross ?" The answer (rythm, sonorities, intent) elicited a number of other questions, which had their own answers, etc. A number of nice people also asked me interesting questions about French, and being a huuuuuge language, I started to answer in insufferable walls of text.
But I came to understand that there could be a demand for a Dirty French class !
I'm starting this thread to answer to questions regarding French, French enunciation and also how to properly emulate a French accent while talking in English.
If you have any script where you'd want to add French, I can give you advice ! It would greatly help other students, so don't hesitate.
I will list here any audio answer I provide (especially useful for enunciation and rythm-related questions), as well as misc lectures.
I consider myself a student too; many a time, one of your questions forced me to see things differently, and I've learned from it. This is my own egoistical reson to do all this. What's yours ?
Pour mes ami(e)s francophones : Je me suis décrété professeur parce que je commence le thread, mais on peut carrément être plusieurs sur le poste. Un petit edit sur le corps du post et hop !
Let's have fun! Any questions ?
EDIT #1, nov 12 I propose a little assignment for you. You can read this poem I composed, and listen to this example of good pronounciation, also by yours truly. I don't know if it should be an request in GWA or if it's okay to post it here. I only mean it as exercise, but you know, it is an erotic poem. In French. Oh, well, we'll see !
