Definition of 'bum bongos'- a highly effective smile making mechanism, consisting of slaps, spanks, pats and whacks, involving a willing plump bottom and a pair of hands. Hands may belong to the same person's person or another's person. The cheeks are usually bare (for acoustic reasons) in this traditional* bedtime game.
