Why, Audacity, why? Does this happen to anyone else and why does it happen?
Post Body

So, I record. Everything is fine and dandy. Normalize it, remove the noise, and keep in mind, at this point things are still fine the levels are there. Now I play it back. In the middle the audio stops. It looks as if it started recording silence. I scroll back to the beginning. Everything is gone. There is 18 minutes of silence. How can this be, I just listened to it? Has this ever happened to anyone?
