I'm just curious if anyone else has ever dreamt about GWA, whether just a little bit or if they had a full-blown GWA-centric dream? I ask because I just had one last night, and... things got a little odd. o_o

…though to be fair, I may have unintentionally asked for it. What do I mean? Well…

Storytime!

I'd only had 4 to 6 hours of sleep each night for most of the week, so when I went to bed at almost midnight on Saturday night, my grip on reality (and sanity!) had grown tenuous. Perhaps if I'd just gone to bed and slept normally, nothing odd would have happened, but, well… you can't be named "Mister Tinkles" and yet act like a normal person.

For some reason, I'd gotten into my head that I should try listening to go-to-bed type audios, so by 11:50pm I had my earphones on and my phone in my hand, trying to find a good go-to-bed-and-sleep audio. Eventually, after a bit of searching, I went with some ASMR audio in which a grown woman alternately whispered and purred like a cat.

…if you're giving me the side-eye right now, don't judge me. D: It was a really good audio.

So I pulled up the blankets, closed my eyes, and that's where things got trippy. Not in the normal "ASMR is trippy" kind of way either. Maybe the unintentional sleep-deprivation played a part, but I would almost instantly fall asleep whenever the woman stopped whispering/purring, and then wake up again when she made a noise. Then she'd fall silent for a seconds and I'd sleep, only to wake again at the first whisper or purr of noise.

This cycle continued for a good long while, keeping me trapped at that very odd place when one is neither really asleep, nor really awake. And, for some odd reason, whenever the audio ended, I would wake due to the long silence and repeat the audio all over again. o___o

SOMEHOW, this went on until 12:47am, when I was suddenly awake enough and sane enough(!) to go "wow, maybe this wasn't the best of ideas," and just took off the earphones and tossed the phone on my bedside, and went to sleep normally.

That night, I dreamt of making audio after audio, answering a bunch of messages (my dream-self would look at his dream-inbox, and it was always orange) and at one point being invited to a "GWA convention"… on a different continent. (I think it was South America. Why would we have the convention in South America? I HAVE NO CLUE. Maybe someone likes rainforests?)

Somehow, I went to the convention. Or tried, rather. While I got to the general location, I was never able to actually get inside the building. Instead, other things happened. I got random hugs. People purred at me. I was pulled into odd conversations. Oddly enough, there wasn't anything particularly sexual going on (you'd think an "erotic audio" convention would get at least a little steamy, but I guess not when you're outside the convention building).

Apparently my dream-self brought his laptop along, because at various points, I answered a bunch more Reddit messages from GWA folks. All the while still trying (and failing) to get inside the convention building.

I woke, saw that it was still dark outside, and rolled over and fell asleep. Then I dreamt of people telling me I should make cuddling audios. Non-sexual ones, apparently? I have no idea. Occasionally, they'd try to show me just what kind of cuddling they'd like, which got awkward, because even in his dreams, Mister Tinkles doesn't really like people in his personal space. :'D

(Strangely enough, now that I'm fully awake, I realized I have no idea how to make non-sexual cuddling audios. o_o)

And then I woke up, checked Reddit to find a bunch of messages(o_o!!!), and then went out of my house to get breakfast.

TL;DR: I tried to fall asleep listening to /u/_Miss_ make purring noises, drifted in and out of consciousness for nearly an hour, and then dreamt that I got invited to a "GWA convention." When I tried to go, I couldn't get in. Also, I got like a buttload of messages. o_o
