There is something that I have needed to tell you all for a really long time. And I guess April 1st is the day when we reveal our true selves.

EDITED to ADD: Okay, so some people have pointed out to me that this joke is really pretty offensive to Chipmunk Americans. And that it is especially hypocritical of me to make this kind of joke considering my defenses of furries and other interspecies groups, and the privelege I hold as a human.

I know that it is really not the done thing to apologize for jokes that end up being more offensive than funny. Especially when only a few people are affected. But I'm just really sorry that I upset anyone with this attempt at humor. I really didn't mean to offend anyone. So I hope you will forgive me.

I'm going to go ahead and leave this up, so I can be held accountable but I hope you understand that I in no way meant to trivialize the very real struggles of Chipmunks in our anti - rodent society.
