Haiiiii, okay so one of my favourite things about old school GWA(Backstage) was questionnaires. They were these lists of questions that anyone, performer, writer, editor or lurker, could answer and they ranged from fairly standard (how did you join GWA, what's your favourite colour etc) to absolutely hilariously unhinged (how long would it take for you to consume 1 Empire State Building's worth in pineapples (can be based on either equivalent monetary value or volume)).
It was such a fun way to both learn more about your favourite creators AND to get to know new ones that could use these fun lil questions to "break the ice" so to speak. As GWA has grown and community engagement has increased it's been quite sad to see that questionnaires surprisingly seemed to have died out!! Individual AMAs are still incredibly popular, so it's not as if people are not interested in this kind of question-and-answer content, but I think that especially if you're first starting out or if you're a small creator doing an AMA can be kinda daunting. Having a pre-set set of wacky fun and creative questions ready at your disposal for ANYONE to use was (to me) the beauty of questionnaires!!
It is my great hope that people who read this and feel similarly might feel inclined to start coming up with new fun creative question lists so we can once again enjoy reading or listening to questionnaires! I think it'd be great for community engagement and just all-around fun! And if you maybe have but 1 or 2 wacky questions and making a list and/or post about your questions seems daunting you should absolutely feel free to post them here in the comments!!
