I don't really want to get into it now, but last night I posted that GIF of the seamless level loading, which was pretty neato. A lot is happeneing behind the scene that is really cool.
What some of you might not realize though is that that one tiny little thing opens up so so SOOOO many possibilities that I never thought would be possible or conceivable with my skillset. However, after that little addition, there are now tons of things that can benefit the game GREATLY that work perfectly well and are completely reasonable to implement in a short amount of time and with minimal effort.
Things that I have tried in the past and struggled with are now the easiest and most simplistic thing ever, and that makes this a really awesome time in development for GTTOD. I will ride this unbridled creative success streak for as long as it benefits GTTOD, and then after that I think it will be time to release.
This one system is one of MANY that I have implemented recently that completely change the way I make and P O L I S H my game. It's a really good time in development right now.
