I have GTA V through Epic Games launcher at the moment. The laptop I play on is very low spec and needs the game at it's lowest settings to be decently playable when it comes to framerate. It still has some big stutters every now and then, especially when driving around at high speeds.

Is it worth upgrading to the Rockstar Launcher version? I've heard Epic Games the Epic Games launcher takes a lot of CPU performance, so I was wondering if having just Rockstar Launcher run while playing will affect the framerate.

Also, if I upgrade, can I transfer the install from Epic Games to Rockstar, so I won't have to download the whole game again, and can I transfer my progress? I have only played Story Mode so far.
