Just got done with my GRE, took it in a test center (in India). The personnel at the center were very helpful, and the whole process went without a hitch. Would highly recommend taking the exam at a center, as opposed to at home.
I'm still awaiting the writing section results, so I don't know for sure how well I did. I think it's going to be about a 4.5. The keyboards were a bit too clickety-clackety for my liking, but I suppose I can't complain too much about that.
I had 3 quant sections, and no idea which one was experimental. All 3 were easier than anticipated. The difficulty was mostly similar to Gregmat's medium quant questions. The 5lb book is also pretty good for it.
As for verbal, it was harder than I expected. The thing with verbal questions is that it tends to play tricks with your mind, and it's easy to get confused that way. Vocab was slightly complicated, especially the Sentence Equivalence questions.
Overall I'm happy with my result. I had expected it to be the other way round (because of my non-STEM background) but I'm definitely not complaining. Best of luck to all future test-takers!
