GRE math problem categories
Post Body

Is there an exhaustive list out there of every question type or category that is commonly found on the GRE quant section? I’m not talking about the answer types (comparison, multiselect, singleselect, fill in the blank). But for example: rate/time questions, sequences, probability questions etc.

I want to be able to see a question and have a developed intuition on how to solve said question right away. Basically attempting to schematize my knowledge base.

I understand math fundamentals pretty well, it’s just the applying them in the way the GRE is testing for and “thinking outside of the box” under time constraints that makes it so difficult for me.

I’m hoping that if I get better at recognizing the clues/leads about what the question is asking (and perhaps put them into schemas) I can improve my quant score.

Let me know what y’all think.
