I gave my first GRE about 7 years back when I was applying to a Master's program. My Quant was always good (got a Q170 last time) since I'd trained myself to take it slow and avoid making silly mistakes.
I took a GRE again today since I'm now applying for a Phd. I took it with lesser preparation this time since I figured I knew how the system works. My quant was good as before but I got really overwhelmed with the Verbal content as I'd forgotten nearly all the words. Most of the material online was either too complex or completely irrelevant.
That's when I found you gregmat, I watched your video on Verbal walkthrough and I could instantly connect with your style of teaching. You made me think verbal just like math, and suddenly it made a lot more sense. I did all 21 Vocab tests, and also watched your Vocab Movie and TV projects.
In the end, it helped me immensely. The quant questions I got this time were much more difficult than I had ever seen in my practice or even during my previous test. So much so that I actually got stuck on one of the problems and ended up not having time to solve the last problem (both of which have never ever happened to me on a quant section). I however did much better on the Verbal sections (felt much more comfortable) which ended up saving me.
I've said this a few times in YouTube comments, I'm not aware if you have a Patreon page, but if you do please post it here and I'll be happy to support you so you can continue helping so many others. Thanks again!
P.S. - I created a reddit account just to thank you. (:
