[Question] Circles and Coordinate Plane
Author Summary

Post Body

In the xy-plane, C and D are circles centered at the origin with radii root(41) and root(13), respectively.

Quantity A

The number of points (a,b) on the circle C where both a and b are integers.

Quantity B

The number of points (a,b) on circle D where both a and b are integers.

I'm lost.

I know that, for example, for a radius to have root 41, it has to have two set of coordinates in which the sum of their differences square has to equal 41. So for example:

radius^2 = 41 = 25 16 = 5^2 4^2

radius^2 = 13 = 9 4 = 3^2 2^2

But I'm not sure if this is the right way to go.
