Recently received my order of a g pen elite from TVape (Toronto vaporizer) and their customer service has been less than helpful in trying to get my g pen to work, but they keep telling me it’s not defective. When I plug in the vaporizer absolutely nothing happens, there is no indication of it charging. I have tried multiple cords and multiple different USB adapters. I can only turn the unit on when it is plugged in, all different adapter and cords combinations have this in common. When it turns on the LCD display illuminates and the bars do flash as if it is charging. The review posted to their own website dated from September of 2021 states that pass-through charging is a feature on this device, customer service seems to think this review is 4 or 5 years old and that the device no longer capable of this feature they were promoting just 3 months ago and is still touted as a feature to this day. At this point I press the front button again to start the process of heating up, the temperature rises about 15 degrees F and the unit shuts down. I have had the vaporizer on to charge (still nothing happening) for days at this point and their have been 20 emails and a phone call where they reiterated that there is nothing wrong with it and it’s obviously something I’m doing wrong. Has anyone else ever seen or heard of this issue, or have any suggestions of possible remedies for the problem? I’m at my wit’s end with the shitty service and being told the same thing over and over again. I’m also told there is no way for them to issue a refund because it’s a warranty issue, and they will send me a new one if after they receive and find it defective, and by that point it will be more than 30 days since my purchase and it’s too late for a refund at that point.
