Real-world use?

So, what is everyone's real-world use for GPG? I'm a journalist, so I have it just in case the next Snowden wants to contact me, but in all honesty, that'll probably never happen. Still, I really enjoy GPG, and want to use it in an everyday setting. Trying to convince my friends to jump in might be difficult though, so I really have no one to send messages to (other than you fine people, of course).
