Heya gooners,

u/cmnl here, your friendly neighbourhood mod. Just writing this up to be transparent about the recent changes to the subreddit and new features/policies we have here on r/GOONED. This post will be updated as new changes come.

Some recent changes:

• Gooner verification system : bypasses some filters for verified user
• Custom flairs : add your gender orientation in your flair
• New filters targeting seller spam and commonly spammed titles like "pick 3", "which slide?"
• New bot mod u/MAGIC_EYE_BOT : removes reposts that are under a week old.
• Gallery posts restricted to users with more than 25 subreddit karma (karma gained on r/GOONED)

We are always tuning the filters so spammers have a hard time :)

If you are already verified and the spam filters are still removing your posts, it's probably something in your title that automod thinks is breaking the rules. Have a read of the rules and think about which words might trip it up. Message us if you still have problems. If your posts always disappear everywhere on reddit, you're probably shadowbanned (we have no control of this, go to r/shadowban).

Full rules:

1️⃣ No illegal or sketchy (young stuff, teen/loli, IRL/involuntary, gross etc) - please do not post "no limits" type stuff

2️⃣ Don't be an asshole - No toxicity or transphobia. Don't post BNWO, racist or political type stuff.

3️⃣ Have fun - perma bans for party poopers

4️⃣ No social media links - no invite or session links of any kind. You can share @ s in the online meetup thread (stickied post).

5️⃣ No advertising/selling - you will be banned if you have paid promo on your profile. ⚠️Sellers must message the mods for permission to post

6️⃣ No DM request/meetup type posts. (use the stickied meetup posts) - no spammy pics with text like "send anything"

7️⃣ Posts must be gooning related - A place for fist fuckers of any gender :)

8️⃣ Restrictions on new users and other policies - New reddit accounts must wait approximately a week before they can make submissions (don't ask for exact number). Only members with more than 25 subreddit karma (karma gained on r/GOONED) can make gallery submissions (posts with more than one pic). Some low karma or low CQS (contributor quality score) users may be prompted to verify before being allowed to post. You may be autobanned by automod if you break the rules.
