I feel like I have been a fan of godzilla for a long time, without ever having watched any of the films. The Japanese films are extremely unavailable where I live. However this weekend I was able to rent a blu Ray copy of the first film, and now I have finally seen it! I absolutely loved it, I also caught Minus One in IMAX, so I feel like now is the time for me to really dig deep and see all of the Japanese films.

I have rented the Criterion Collection set, but none of the Heisei and Millennium Era films are avaliable here in my country. That got me thinking: is there a possibility that the Heisei and Millennium films will come out soon in a new restoration? For example from Arrow Films or another distributor. I'm really curious to see these films, and it would be amazing to have them re-released in a new box set! Is it realistic to hope for a new release of these films?

Also, if you have any suggestions for must-see godzilla films, please let me know!
