Do you think Serizawa should have stayed alive in kotm and continued appearing in other movies before his sacrifice or a you ok with him dying this early?

I was not okay with that decision. I get that it's cause he died in the original, but in the original, 0it had to be Serizawa because he had the secrets of the oxygen destroyer in his head. He had to die to elimate any chances of their being another oxygen destroyer. Here, it could be literally anyone, and the film doesn't specify why it has to be Serizawa.
