My girlfriend overheated her blazer extreme. When it over heated it also lost oil pressure and started smoking when they pulled in to the gas station.she put in coolant and oil and continued home. She gets home she tells me what happend. I got to looking it over, find that the radiator had a small leak on the baffle and wont build pressure. So i fill it up and take it on a ride. Took off cold had 40 psi for oil pressure. After the engine got to temp 210 and got all warmed up it started loosing oil pressure. At 2500 rpm it will make 10 pounds of pressure. Looks like the main seals and pan gaskets are toast also. My research on the oil pressure issue is pointing at that she either toasted the crank or crank bearings. Has any one had this problem and what was the fix?
