Is it a good idea to hook up a 5x8 Uhaul Trailer to my 97 Tahoe and tow for 600 miles? Nothing heavy. Queen size bed, couch, couple of chairs.
Post Body

It is in a good shape but is she too old to be bothered with this crap? Lol.

Your good dude. A tahoe can do that no problem, even a V6 can do it

Uhaul states “empty weight 1730, gross weight rating 4400 pounds”

A ton is 2000 pounds

They are also not that heavy. Thats probably just the gross weight rating of the trailer.
