Good morning 🦍’s!

I just got done completing a transfer of xxx shares from my standard brokerage account. There is a larger portion of shares in mine and my wife’s IRA accounts. I am wondering of there is a way we can do a transfer of our shares from the IRA’s to our brokerage account so thAt we can direct register those shares as well.

I understand there might be penalties, but if i don’t plan on selling more than a few shares, wouldn’t it make sense to take a little hit now before lift off to direct register if i dont plan on selling anyways? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
