I understand everyone is eager to know how and when all this is going to go down.
But there's a few important things to remember through this.
A) We are not going to see giant DD bombs dropped that change the game all the time.
Early on as we were learning what all this shit was, there was a constant stream of new information. As we've continued forward, we have many agreed upon knows. That means there's less info out there to be discovered. That, in turn, means the significant DD will be less frequent and meaningful as we go. This is expected and anticipated, and should not come as a surprise.
A metaphor: Ken Pomeroy is one of the great sports statisticians of all time with a focus on men's college basketball. His pre season rankings are partially reliant on the previous seasons information, until games start being played for the current season. This means early on his rankings are incredibly volatile and a loss or win can drastically influence ranking. As time goes on and more data comes in, it becomes increasingly stable, to the point where by the end of the season there is hardly any significant movement for a team at any moment. We're in the same boat right now. Our understanding is becoming more nuanced, and we should not expect a steady stream of new giant DD breakthroughs to sustain us.
Part A TLDR: the longer this goes, the more data we have. This means if you're addicted to huge DD spikes, they're going to appear less and less.
B) While the 24 hour news cycle feels important and necessary, any information published can and will be used for shilling.
The live minute by minute breakdowns of each day is fun. But the more info we put out, the more there is for shills to pick through and selectively choose for FUD. We've seen a huge increase of this in recent days, with Warden today being the latest target.
All I can do is raise awareness on this point. I don't have any fucking clue if anyone should consider changing anything because of it. But realize that in the same way we're learning about HF behavior because we have access to data on them, they are intensely focused on us trying to learn as well. Information is power in this moment. If you have something big or vital to share, do it. But I personally think that maybe it may be worth considering pairing down the constant stream of live analysis to be consumed. Unless what is being shared can truly change our understanding of the situation, please consider heavily whether or not to share. This is just my opinion, obviously.
Part B TLDR: The HFs are learning about us the same time we're learning about them. Treat everything you post on this site as if it could be weaponized against you and the community.
Just be careful about expectations and the need to have an IV drip of information in order to feel safe. The thesis and gameplan remain the same. At the end of the day, while potentially very nice to have, anything beyond "all shorts must cover" and "buy and hold" is honestly just noise. Some of it is really nice noise that makes us feel really good. But don't get addicted and suffer withdrawals that lead to paranoia and toxicity.
Apes strong together. See you all on the Moon.
