Preface:? THIS IS SIMPLY A POSSIBILITY. I USE THE WORDS MAY AND COULD A LOT. DON'T COME AT ME WITH THE DON'T MAKE PREDICTIONS IS WRONG TO GUESS NONSENSE. I'm not a financial advisor. I'm an ape who got real high tonight and began to try to think like his rich self would think. That said:
We didn't get hype news today.
We didn't receive news on Cohen, or stock recalls, or splits, or anything on the squeeze at all beyond a section in the distributed material.
However, those are things that we as retail investors get hyped about in the short term because we want the MOASS and we want it now.
However, we've been saying for awhile that the retail investors aren't the only army in this fight.
If I were a whale or institution, I know I'm going to need to be able to justify a long term investment based on the fundamentals of a company. The squeeze is still in play for them, but up until today the official reported numbers still looked fragile. They don't anymore. The company has proved it has changed course and is now moving to increased footprint and financial success.
I guarantee you there were whales watching today who had been fence sitting and weren't in yet because they were waiting on today's news. It may be in small amounts, and it may not be sufficient to move anything.
But there is a chance that today made enough of a case for the future of the company that we see some LARGE purchasing tomorrow. Because the big public unknown was company longevity, at least as far as public perception is concerned. And that has been proven not to be an immediate fear anymore.
