Some pickups from GameStop today

I donā€™t care to learn how to play Magic The Gathering, not even sure if Iā€™m going to open these packs, but they could be worth some money.

So here on out why not just buy some cards of whatever theyā€™ve got in the store and couple times per month?

Iā€™ve seen that older packs can sell for more than what the total number of cards included, so I figure regardless someday these unopened packs might be worth more than what Iā€™ve paid for them. And if I decide to open them maybe each individual card may increase in value over time.

Iā€™m new to collecting cards, any tips on which packs to keep an eye out for all cards GS carries is appreciated.

Like do the bigger boxes have a higher chance of having high value pulls or does it matter and to just pick up the booster packs?

Iā€™ve only been in GS a few times over the last couple of years. I actually kind of hate how they handle new releases they never order enough copies for new games and really force preordering on you which I absolutely despise. It was super frustrating to go to GameStop to see if I can pick up a new game on launch day to find out theyā€™re sold out then go across the street to Walmart and find MULTIPLE copies of the new game.

I was having a really hard time actually wanting to support the business, definitely didnā€™t have a need for the pro membership.

But now with the cards and new PSA partnership I think I found a way to get interested and support other than just buying and registering shares.

GameStop desperately needs to rebrand. Because I truly think that the way that the business handles what they ā€œspecializeā€ in absolutely sucks and they truly have always had a bad rep.

Again, a rebranding is desperately needed, I have a feeling thatā€™s in the pipeline.

Crossing my fingers for November.
