I donāt care to learn how to play Magic The Gathering, not even sure if Iām going to open these packs, but they could be worth some money.
So here on out why not just buy some cards of whatever theyāve got in the store and couple times per month?
Iāve seen that older packs can sell for more than what the total number of cards included, so I figure regardless someday these unopened packs might be worth more than what Iāve paid for them. And if I decide to open them maybe each individual card may increase in value over time.
Iām new to collecting cards, any tips on which packs to keep an eye out for all cards GS carries is appreciated.
Like do the bigger boxes have a higher chance of having high value pulls or does it matter and to just pick up the booster packs?
Iāve only been in GS a few times over the last couple of years. I actually kind of hate how they handle new releases they never order enough copies for new games and really force preordering on you which I absolutely despise. It was super frustrating to go to GameStop to see if I can pick up a new game on launch day to find out theyāre sold out then go across the street to Walmart and find MULTIPLE copies of the new game.
I was having a really hard time actually wanting to support the business, definitely didnāt have a need for the pro membership.
But now with the cards and new PSA partnership I think I found a way to get interested and support other than just buying and registering shares.
GameStop desperately needs to rebrand. Because I truly think that the way that the business handles what they āspecializeā in absolutely sucks and they truly have always had a bad rep.
Again, a rebranding is desperately needed, I have a feeling thatās in the pipeline.
Crossing my fingers for November.
