As title says will it void any warranties if I have uhaul install the hitch instead of GMC? They are much cheaper and use the same wiring GMC would use. I tried asking the dealership and I didn’t really get a clear answer. Quick google search shows I should be fine but was wondering if anyone had any experience with it. Thanks!
A little background:
I bought a used 2020 Canyon and it was listed having the trailer package. I didn’t look closely enough until after I signed all the paperwork and found out that it had the trailer package but no hitch. Weird, right? I know I should have been more diligent but it was during the car craze and it had everything I wanted in the truck, besides the hitch lol.
