Does BDO give you pain in your back and / or eyes?

I've noticed that everytime I take BDO now, it makes my back pain flair up, and my eyes itch / water. Since BDO has pain dampening properties, I'm surprised by this and wonder what in the BDO is causing this. I enjoy taking it but it's to the point now where the back pain is too intense for me. Wondering if anyone else out there has experienced this.
