New and looking for guidance to avoid bad habits.
Post Body

So~ I recently acquired ā€œGā€ specifically itā€™s BDO. Which seems to be the worst option in the G suite.

I am used to casual drinking. Maybe 2 -3 days out of the week Iā€™ll have a beer or 2 with dinner or go get drunk at a party on the weekend once - twice a month. Iā€™m 27 and have been coming out of my partying phase for the last 2 years.

Ideally I want to replace alcohol with G. And have a respected casual relationship with it. It overall seems like the better option and this post is trying to figure that out.

I have had it for 2 weeks and have done it maybe 5-6 times since acquiring it. I love it!

Question 1: Is this too often? How often would you recommend is ok while avoiding addiction/abuse/withdrawal symptoms? I am too new to experience any of it/know what it looks like.

Question 2: what do the red flags look like? (Besides ā€˜overdosingā€™) Iā€™m talking about addiction signs, withdrawal symptoms, behavioral changes to be aware of etc. when to back off? Any boundary advice?

In regards to a vice I am fully aware nothing is ā€˜healthyā€™ however some things are worse for you than otherā€™s. In terms of brain damage, or other organ damage, behavioral damage, etc. Question 3: Is G ā€˜better for youā€™ than Alcohol, Molly, other drugs, etc? I understand it depends on the relationship, in this context I am referring to establishing a respectful casual relationship with it and replacing my casual drinking tendencies with G.

Question 4: I have BDO, should I throw it away and find GHB instead? I prioritize the healthier option if itā€™s possible. Is there a major difference between GHB and BDO in regards to health, safety, effects, etc? Are we comparing apples to apples? Or is it comparing apples to pears?

I like G for the following reasons:

A: I love the euphoria

B: It feels like Alcohol but without the hangover and without damaging my liver, less brain damage, and no fat gain. With G I can stay looking fit, athletic, and overall in good shape. Question 5: With this being said, is G the better option than alcohol? What am I missing?

C: It makes me horny and fun! I am a gay porn model and while I love my job, sometimes it can be exhausting having to make content even when I donā€™t feel like it. Itā€™s my full time job. My first time 2 weeks ago I used ā€˜Gā€™ before filming a scene, and it was awesome! Tons of fun! It helps with my cam shows too. I make about $1K a cam show, camming 3 days a week. I have done it secretly for 2 cam shows. so itā€™s REALLY good money and so far a little G is really working magic. I made a few hundred more on those shows than I did on sober shows. I am on a rush of the G, the sexual acts, the money, the exhibition thrill, and feeling loved and praised, etc. so yeah to be honest Iā€™m feeling like king of the world (again) lately. This is where I feel like my slope is the slipperiest. It makes work fun, exciting, and easy. Essentially it feels like a tool. Not for use all the time, but for when itā€™s helpful. Question 6: Any advice on establishing a boundary with it and my work? I think I want to continue using it for work but establishing a boundary with it so that I avoid abuse/addiction, and still have an absolute blast!

I believe there is balance when it comes to substances, I am seeking advice on how to set up boundaries, and find balance with this new wonderful substance. I want to enjoy it responsibly, and would love some guidance to avoid addiction.

Thank you in advance for your advice, I hope you have a wonderful day.
