Tip 14 - Don’t set unrealistic expectations
No, it’s not possible to do 25 hours of work in one day, and even if it was, you shouldn’t. Setting yourself an abundance of work or revision will lead to it piling up and becoming more stressful than necessary. Plan your sessions a bit shorter than expected, so that if you need to go over something you have time to do that, instead of skipping it out in a rush to finish everything. If you finish your work early, you can either go back over it or start on your next session’s work early. Just remember that you don’t have to keep each session length the same, despite many preplanned timetables allocating exact time slots; you can get a lot out of a session if you’re focusing, regardless if it’s shorter than normal. As long as you cover what you need to and have checked up on everything you were unsure of, then that’s enough. Don’t put extra pressure on yourself.
