Move here 2 years ago for work. Co-workers have been great, and I love hanging out with them outside of work. However it's hard to find something more personal in this city. I was on a crowded bus heading home and met this kind and cheerful lady sitting next to me. We chatted and laughed about the nuances of this city, and our travels around the world. During our conversation, she placed her hand on my lap, I didn't pay much attention to it and as we continued our chat. I later reciprocated the gesture and with our hands on each other's lap, we continued our very SFW convo. The entire experience just felt genuine, and when it came time for her to get off, we parted ways with a hug. London can be a desolate place, but experiences like this do exist.
