My name's Matt, and I'm hoping I can meet someone on here. I've tried dating apps on and off for a few years but have had very little luck, and after considering posting something on Reddit for a while I've decided to just do it.

I'm ultimately looking for a long-term relationship, but I'll admit that I'm very new with dating so even just talking to people online and being able to make new friends would be good for me.

About me: I'm British, white, 5'6, short brown hair, glasses, average build, no tattoos/piercings. I have considered posting some pics of me on my profile but I'm admittedly afraid of someone irl recognising me, I'm open to share pics (sfw!) once we start talking. I would say I'm reasonably attractive, this is open to interpretation but if you're into cute dorky intellectual type guys then I think you'll be interested.

I love cooking - both the process and learning the skills, but also putting lots of effort and love into something which I can then share with others. I also have an on-again-off-again Ross and Rachel relationship with the piano - I would say I'm reasonably good but I'm also quite rusty. I like being outdoors, especially walks ( talks) and cycling. I also game a fair bit, particularly a big fan of Zelda (ask at your own risk).

About you: I'm open to talk to all sorts of people, but being female and 18 are both strict requirements. I would say I would prefer someone in the age range of 20-26 but there is some flexibility there. Somebody not too far from me would also be great, but we can discuss that between ourselves. I'm typically into people who have some sort of artistic/creative skill (big plus if you can draw), and who is into deep chats and emotional intimacy.
