I think in short, I'm looking for that reason to be excited about phone notifications again.
I'm a bit dorky and have always embraced my awkwardness. I love finding people with whom I can share my internal monologue without fear. I enjoy sharing the ups and downs of life and having conversations that effortlessly drift from topic to topic, sprinkled with innuendos or unfiltered rants.
I traded in the professional working life for a more relaxed approach. I faced testicular cancer just over five years ago, which significantly changed my worldview. I'm open to answering any curious questions you might have about that experience. Nowadays, I focus on a variety of interests:
- Football (or sports in general)
- Growing vegetables
- Cooking/baking
- Video games (sparingly)
- YouTube (documentaries or smart, funny people explaining things)
Currently, I'm hoarding plastic bottles in hopes of crafting a greenhouse made entirely from recycled materials. I could just get a greenhouse, but where's the fun in that?
I tend to coast through my interests day to day and catch up with friends and family when I can. Enjoying a better work-life balance has made me realize the gap in my life for a partner, which is why I'm here.
I don't really have a specific type of person I'm looking for. I tend to form connections when we can both pitch each other daydreams of the adventures we could have together.
