I'm a 28 year old single guy living in the North West of the UK. Overall I'm fairly happy with my life, work full time, have a few good friends (which is more important to me than lots of friends) and have a lot of things to be grateful for in life. However the older I get, the more my friends are busy with other things, we all live further apart than ever and some days can feel pretty boring.
I'm not into partying or clubbing, it's not something I've ever enjoyed, I like my fairly quiet lifestyle. I guess I just want to meet a more people with a similar mindset.
The reason the post is M4F, is because I always seem to have better friendships with women. I appreciate my guy friends, but it's not quite the same, male friend groups are often more to the point and with less emotion. I like the deeper side of friendships too, the closer bonds, which I seem to find only with female friendships. Sometimes friendships can lead to more and I'm not against that, if there was a mutual feeling for that. However friends is primarily what I'm looking for.
I'd love to chat to others in the UK, the closer to the North West is a bonus really! I've deliberately kept this post quite simple, as chatting about our interests and hobbies is the best bit when getting to know someone and I want to hear about yours too! There is no fun in just reading a list of mine!
