I can hear the rain hammering on the window so I’m just going to avoid being an adult for another hour! Should I say here we go again? I guess if I do, you know that I’ve been here before and I’m sure you have too! I’m a 41 yr old dad of one (also a  four legged one too), long-time married, work full time where I have to be responsible and accountable… then  doing the same all over at home too…which is why I’m here. If you are also looking for that little escape where we can just focus on good things and not always be at the call of the family or work then swing by and drop me a message. By day, I’m tackling work deadlines and dealing with a variety of people and personalities…whilst by night, I’m all about finding something good to watch and to let the day’s activities and drama wash away…life’s all about balance, right?

About me: Laid back (not quite horizontal, yet assertive, becoming a far better communicator now I’m older, confident, 6’4, currently shifting a few pounds so feeling better about myself whilst enjoying a few runs a week to to help with some level of fitness as I enter the forties! Lover of loads of music, live music or just surrendering myself to the algorithm on the hunt for something new. Oh, also the sofa is a favourite place of mine but it seems only after I’ve done everything for everyone else! I’ve spent some time on and off over the last year looking  in some subs reading some awesome posts and trying to see who’s out there that can sprinkle some smiles and good witty banter over my every day.  I’m in the UK but that doesn’t mean you have to be at all.

About you: Confident, comfortable in yourself, a talker, lover of voicenotes and random chat. In a relationship with kids is not essential but it allows us to share some values and means that we both have “life” to contend with which makes our conversations something to look forward to and embrace. Oh and a killer smile and glint in your eye when you have something in your head that you shouldn’t for that moment in time.
