As the title states, I'm a 37 year old guy who's bi, and I'd like to visit a gay bar for the first time. It'll be in Manchester, which is where I'll be visiting soon. Problem is, I'm a bit shy and inexperienced - I don't go to bars in general, and I haven't been able to explore the same-sex side of my bisexuality for a large part of my life, so it's all a bit daunting to me.
That's why I'm looking for someone kind and supportive to accompany me! Your gender and sexuality don't matter, as long as you're willing to go and back me up while we're there. It doesn't have to last beyond that (although I'm always open to new friends if we get on well). Bonus points if you've been to a gay bar before, of course, but that's not a hard requirement! It'd be nice if you're not a million miles away from me in age, just because it's usually easier to relate and vibe that way.
