Hi, apologies if this is a bit of a ramble and/or self indulgent.
I'm looking for people to talk to. I'm desperately lonely and really quite ground down by life at the moment. I'm in a committed relationship, but we have a disabled son who takes up most of our energy and time.
I've lost contact with all my friends, and haven't got family left now so I feel like a prisoner in my own life at the moment. I'm desperate for human contact, just talking, giving me an outlet.
Obviously there's a lot of context missing but it's hard to summarise in a reddit post but happy to talk about things, if anyone is interested of course.
I'm a nerdy sort, into videogames, sci-fi and marvel stuff, pretty standard really. If you're of a nerdy disposition we'd get along fine.
I know I'm not going to get much in the way of interest but I figured it was worth a shout out into the ether, I guess just sticking a bit of my feelings in a post might help. Who knows. Thank you if you've got this far.
