Hey all,
I want to know your smokey gaze is peering into this post as I contemplate what type of person comes around to these muddy waters and barks up this tree. I´m American from the eastern seaboard, expatriated in Spain planning a trip to England after a long absence since studying in London in 2015 and visiting pre pandemic in 2019. I´m minimally planning on staying Thursday and very much am looking for proper company to enjoy jazz, drinks, and maybe more if things align.
Putting aside the old movie schtick, I´m a former accountant teaching English in Spain who has an interest in travel. I´ve lived in New Jersey, London, and now A Coruna, Galicia with shorter periods of time in Montreal, Mexico, and Washington DC. I´ve been to a variety of places but mostly in North America and Europe with some big interests in Eurasia. I´m someone who likes to travel light so i can always adjust my travel plans but just enough space to bring back a few souvenirs. In chat I´d be more than happy to discuss the various knick knacks I´ve taken back with me. My most recent trip was 11 days between Morocco and Andalucia during this year´s Semana Santa.
I enjoy writing, mostly poetry. My phone recently broke so my collection of daily notes needs to be recovered but I usually write every day. I´m into figure drawing with black chalk and I´m attempting to steadily improve. I really enjoy taking a moment in life or a feeling and trying to put it in a medium potentially other people or myself can enjoy. Before travel and poetry I was a huge gamer, I spend most of my time outdoors lately.
I´m mostly keeping this brief, but here´s a bit about me below
- 5´10´, average bodied, played rugby pre pandemic
- bald, but with a very nice thick beard
- dresses fashionably
- Alittle shy and alittle bold
- open minded and looking for the same
If this brief post interests you, send me a DM or chat, low effort opening messages are fine, but I´m really looking for someone that´s open to sharing about themselves.
Best,
John
