Subject: Seeking Meaningful Connection

Hi everyone,

It has come to my attention that I am 23 years of age and have yet to have a meaningful connection. Now, this can be due to a number of reasons:

1. I am extremely boring. (likely, I have reused this same intro post before ….)
2. I am extremely interesting and therefore intimidating. (Less likely)
3. I have yet to meet someone who I click with. (Possible? Statistics would deem this impossible)
4. I have anxiety over dating and men in general. (Most probable answer)
5. I’m not a consistent texter and struggle to talk daily (I’m trying to work on this)

As the holiday months approach and the cold weather seeps in, I find myself in my new flat a lot more often than not, and just a bit lonely. Sad, I know. I’ve structured this as an email so I can write more easily, and having a structured format proves a helpful tool indeed. Makes me feel less embarrassed trying to convince people to like me.

I have very few requirements, but I will list them all the same:

• Family-oriented. I have a big family, they are loud, they will take the mick out of you.
• Is also seeking a meaningful connection. I do not want casual, please do not message me for anything sexual. I cannot stress this enough.
• Understanding that I have no relationship experience. I do not understand certain social cues, I do not know how to act when talking to people for the purpose of dating. It confuses me.
• Interested in a friendship first.
• understands I am not a good texter and will not take it personally if I do not message for a day.

About me -

• I live at the bottom of the UK - I am averse to giving details so quickly because I was a child on the internet. Not that I don’t trust you, but it is reddit.
• 5”7.
• 90 kg. On that big side of the body spectrum and a toe on the autistic spectrum.
• Egg Chaser (I say this loosely as I will not be training until the new year)
• Love music, all kinds. On repeat is the Book of Mormon soundtrack and early 2000’s indie music. Little big planet vibes. Also Fred Again.
• Love my cozy games.
• Big on traveling.
