I'm currently on the hunt for a 1 within the UK or Ireland

Me: I work for myself and I work from home. I work creatively and I am artistic in general. I haven't quite 'made' it yet but I'm not far off, which is both exciting and terrifying at the same time. I am extremely self driven and focused, with the occasional few day meltdown about once a month.

Other than that, I have other interests that include but are not limited to: photography, hiking, super dry documentaries, film (love sci-fi, fantasy, 80s-90s action), music (metal, but mostly ambient or blues stuff for work these days), camping, cooking, kitchen-dancing, animals and games (I don't play much these days but some retro gaming is on my to-do list, the stuff from my childhood specifically).

Like most, I'm a poor judge of my own character so I'll just tell you what I like. I enjoy crude and dark humour quite a bit. I think life is short and largely pointless outside of our relationships or passions and subsequently I'm deeply romantic about the things that I care for. I think that if there is magic to be found in this world, it is in meaningful relationships, mastery and/or in nature.

I know myself very well. I know the kind of man I am and I'm proud of that fact. That has been a long and painful process, but I know what makes me happy. There is a great peace that comes from knowing yourself, or so I'm discovering, and it's really nice. I am a pretty basic man in terms of my wants and needs.

I value integrity. I like people that know who they are. I want someone to be able to tell me about their passions because I'm very interested in learning about you. I value communication. Got a problem? Tell me about it or swear at me, both are equal and valid. I'm into physical intimacy. You know, like hugs and shit are rad. I like people who understand their own issues and are capable of expressing that in a healthy way.

What I'd like from my person is for them to be my person. I want to experience and have you experience the kind of romance worthy of lore. I also want to have that grounded love, the kind where you can defeat anything with combined stubborn will. I want to people watch and make up silly stories. I want to laugh at the absurdity of it all, of us, and everything inbetween; and be completely comforted in that secret joke by the fact that you're there with me. Most of all, I want a team mate. Flying solo is hard and I'm a bit over it.

Ultimately though, I'm just a guy making his way in the world. I don't care much for the society around me or the rat race. My ideal life would be one in the woods or by the ocean with my woman and my vegetable patch.
