GEMSAS GPA pass/fail subject question

I’ve read the GEMSAS document on GPA calculation, but am a little confused on a couple points.
Do pass/fail (ungraded) subjects disadvantage you in the calculation of your GPA? I am in Nursing, and am worried that these subjects will bring down my GPA, or not include them, instead taking GPA from my previous (poor performing) degree.
